Online Marketing Strategy: How do you do it?

The most important thing about being online is your strategy. Just being online isn’t enough. What makes your business stand out from the crowd? And are you communicating this online? What should you choose, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+, blogging or all of it?

Start from the very beginning. What are your company’s services? What is your target Audience? What identity does your company have? Once you have got this all clear take a look at your current situation, what could you possibly do better? Is there a need to change your business basics?

Than look at the market you’re operating in. Who are your competitors? How do they present themselves online? What is interesting about your product for your target audience?

You have probably done this at least one time before, but it’s a good thing to repeat every once in a while. People change, so your company might need changes too. 

Once you’ve got a clear view of the current situation of your business it’s time to review your future perspective. Where do you want to be in five years and how will you get there? For online marketing it is also important to look at the trends, like social media and SEO nowadays.  If you miss out on these things you won’t get noticed.

So all together, take a good look at your business and your competitors. Look at the current trends and implement this in your online strategy. If you were your customer, how would you like to see your own business?
